What 60+ Recreation Therapists Said After Attending This Free CEU Event

by | Jun 22, 2026 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

“Please offer more webinars.”

“I love Rec Therapy Today.”

“Thank you for always providing top-tier webinars.”

Those were just a few of the comments we received after hosting the Mini Momentum Teleconference on June 12, 2026.

The free event brought Recreation Therapists together from across the United States, Qatar, and New Zealand for two timely presentations featuring leaders from ATRA and NCTRC.

Empowering Change: The Future of Recreation Therapy and the Role of ATRA

Noelle Molloy, NCTRC

Recertification and Specialization Area Designation

Thank you to Brent D. Wolfe, Noelle Molloy, and everyone who attended Mini Momentum 2026. We look forward to continuing to support Recreation Therapists through innovation, education, and connection.

At Rec Therapy Today, our mission has always been simple: make high-quality continuing education more accessible to Recreation Therapists.

The feedback suggests we’re moving in the right direction.

Participants repeatedly highlighted four themes:

1. Accessible CEUs Matter

Many Recreation Therapists shared appreciation for opportunities that don’t require expensive travel, hotel stays, or time away from work.

One participant wrote:

“Thank you for providing accessible ways to gain CEUs online.”

Another shared:

“Thank you for providing the opportunity for Recreation Therapists who need online access that may not have the resources to travel to face-to-face classes for credit.”

2. Free Learning Opportunities Are Valued

Several attendees specifically requested more free webinars and educational opportunities.

Comments included:

“Please offer more free webinars!”

“Appreciate the opportunity to join a free CEU training.”

“Thanks so much for offering this free opportunity for CEUs and knowledge.”

3. Collaboration Strengthens the Profession

Attendees appreciated seeing leaders from both ATRA and NCTRC share their expertise.

One attendee commented:

“I appreciate you partnering with others in the RT community to provide us education and learning opportunities.”

4. Community Matters

Perhaps most encouraging was the number of comments expressing appreciation for the Recreation Therapy profession and the opportunity to learn together.

Comments included:

“I love Rec Therapy Today. It’s such a great resource!”

“Thank you for always providing top-tier webinars.”

“Continue with the great job you are doing for our fellow therapists.”
