Icebreakers are a great way to build connections in recreational therapy sessions.
Here are three fun ones:
- “Two Truths and a Lie” – Each person shares two true statements and one false one. Others guess the lie.
- “Would You Rather” – Pose fun, silly, or thought-provoking questions, like “Would you rather have the ability to fly or be invisible?”
- “The Name Game” – Go around the circle and have each person say their name with an action (e.g., “Jumping Jake”), then others repeat it.
These activities lighten the mood, break barriers, and encourage engagement!
