Clients with ADHD often benefit from recreation activities that combine movement, structure, and clear goals. Recreational therapists can incorporate physical outlets such as obstacle courses, team sports, or dance, paired with activities that build focus and concentration like yoga, puzzles, or mindfulness coloring. Structured schedules and visual supports provide predictability. These activities help clients not only expend energy but also practice attention, turn-taking, and self-control in a supportive environment.
