Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment, aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment. By focusing on the present, mindfulness can help individuals manage their emotions and find inner peace.

When we mindlessly dwell on the past, we may find ourselves feeling depressed, constantly replaying negative experiences or wishing things had happened differently. This rumination can lead to a cycle of negative emotions that affect our present well-being.

On the other hand, mindless worrying about the future can lead to anxiety and stress. We may find ourselves caught up in a cycle of “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios, feeling overwhelmed by the uncertainty of what is to come.

However, by practicing mindfulness, we can swish away these thoughts of past and future and bring our focus back to the present moment. By doing so, we can experience a sense of calm and clarity, allowing us to better manage our emotions and cultivate a greater sense of well-being.
