What I plan to apply in my own life:

1. Make sure neices and nephews see and know that I get up and go to work. I read a lot of books. I’m dedicated and can tolerate emotions. They will lean from observation.

2. At work, teach concepts from book on determination, grit, growth mindset, distress tolerance, delayed gratification.

An idea: connect with the author who operates Sparta camp, that helps children to  bulid emotional, mental, and physical strength. Ask author if he offers program for kids with special needs. Author described one kid who was visually impaired who completed camp.
