So, what exactly is this whole growth mindset thing? Well, to put it simply, it’s all about the belief that our abilities and intelligence can be developed and improved over time through dedication and hard work.
On the flip side, a fixed mindset revolves around the belief that our talents and intelligence are static traits, leading us to avoid challenges and give up easily when faced with obstacles.
Now, let’s delve a bit deeper into this. Think about a time when you faced a setback or received criticism. Did you immediately feel deflated and discouraged, thinking that you simply don’t have what it takes to overcome the situation (fixed mindset), or did you view it as an opportunity to learn and grow, recognizing that with effort and perseverance, you can improve (growth mindset)?
