Meet Morgan Carnahan, she was at her very first professional conference.

The ATRA conference exceeded her expectations.

She is a sophomore in the Recreational Therapy program at Slippery Rock University. Her Advisor suggested she become a recreation therapy student based off her career interests.

She volunteers for Storm Harbor Equestrian Center, and the Transition Achievement Program (TAP).

As she is still experiencing professional growth, her dream is to be a teacher with TAP. She has not even begun to think about where she wants to complete her internship. She is focusing on the different components that therapeutic recreation has to offer by shadowing professionals and gaining a hands-on experience through her classes. Be on the lookout for her applications to complete an internship. She is hoping to have a better idea of what area she wants to focus on by the end of next year.
