Requirements: Required
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred
Some college.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
Experience in the human service and/or recreation field.
Experience working with children.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS
Preferred
CPR and First Aid certifications.
SKILLS
Willingness to learn.
Flexibility and patience.
Ability to live on-site during the season.
Ability to make judgment decisions in a setting where variables can change quickly, and often without notice (such as weather conditions).
Ability to easily, effectively, and proficiently communicate needs, feedback, and questions throughout the program.
Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information.
Ability to provide a safe, fun environment for all.

Working Conditions / Demands
This is a physically active position requiring mobility. Ability to move and transfer equipment. Stamina to endure long hours in a position that is both physically and emotionally demanding. Nights will be part of the duties and responsibilities due to our residential capacity.
