We’re all born with capacity to develop unique gifts.

Some people are gifted in some things. Other people are gifted with other things.

Blogging and writing are two of my gifts. I wasn’t naturally born with the gift to write. In fact, I couldn’t even hold a pencil, type on a keyboard, or write my name on the day I was born.

None of us are born with it. We have the potential to develop our unique talents and gifts.

Professional athletes don’t like to be defined as having a natural born talent.

Comments like this undermined the thousands of hours of determination, practice, and dedication is took to get to that level.

The Spanish artist Pablo Picasso said: The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.

A life worth living is about finding your gifts and giving it away.

Here are some example of gifts and giving it away:

Artist is to create art for the world.

Baker is to bake goods for people to eat

Culinary artist is to cook and arrange food.

Dentist is to help promote healthy gums and teeth.

Electricians are to help install and connect electricity to places.

Firefighters are to prevent fires and to help save people from fires.

A  Recreation Therapists offers unique healing and growth through purposely planned activity interventions. These activities help promote social, physical, emotional, cognitive, independent functioning and overall wellbeing.

Questions for you to think about:

What gifts are you going to develop?

How are you going to give your gifts to the world?
