Danny Pettry is a Certified Success Principles Trainer through Jack Canfield’s organization.
This is week # 13 out of the 52 weeks in 2020.
This week’s success principle is:
Take Action Even If You Don’t Know the Whole Path
The universe rewards action.
How many times have you heard people talk about new inventions by saying, “That was my idea” or “they stole my idea.”
There is a difference.
The person who said, “that was my idea,” simply had an idea. They didn’t take action.
The inventory on the other hand, got the same idea, took action, and make it happen.
I’m passionate about books and reading.
I had the business idea to create book vending machines like a RedBox — but you pay and get to keep the book. It would have popular best-selling novels and fiction and a “mystery button.” for a surprise book. I thought I’d call it “Book-in-Box”
I didn’t take action. It was only an idea. Someone else invented book vending machines. They can be found in several public schools.
I had the idea in 2006 to create online courses to help rec therapists to earn Continuing Education Units. I took action on that idea. My program (Rec Therapy Today) — (formerly dannypettry.com- — rec therapy ceus) has had thousands of Rec Therapists to take courses to renew their national certificate and / or state license to practice. We started small. Very few people trusted online CEUs in 2006. I can recall having only one person sign-up to take a course in August 2006. I kept on. Today, we’ll have around 800 to 900 people attend our live webinars.

Final Thoughts:
George S. Patton was a general in the U.S. Amy during World War II.
Patton said, “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.”
