Position: Rehabilitation Therapist
Salary: $30,718.48 – $34,907.60
Duties: Conducting groups and activities for a mental health geriatric population, assessments, 1:1 treatment services, documentation of client progress.
Requirements: Must be Certified or Certified eligible (CTRS). Must have a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Recreation Therapy or Leisure studies.
Additional info: Northeast Florida State Hospital is looking for a certified or certified eligible Rehabilitation Therapist. We are in need of two (2) Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, and must have a degree in Recreation. Preferences will be given to applicants with the ability to speak Spanish. Incumbent will provide functional skills training by planning, coordinating, and conducting same to include simulation exercises and classroom activities. Incumbent will complete assessments (i.e., Rehab assessment, interviews, and other evaluation), monitors performance, and provides written observation, outcomes and recommendations for future treatment. Knowledge of treatment goals and approaches in a clinical setting is essential.
Salary will be based on education, and experience. Excellent benefit package available!
