Danny Pettry is a Certified Success Principles Trainer through Jack Canfield’s organization.

This is week # 9 out of the 52 weeks in 2020.

This week’s success principle is:

Success Leaves Clues

Crime scenes leave clues.

There are finger printers, DNA, shoe prints, video surveillance, cell phone use connected to a nearest tower, tracking debit/ credit card use, facial recognition tools and so many more.

One guy chewed gum and put it on the bedroom dresser after a crime. They were able to connect by his unique tooth prints in the chewed up gum.

Success also leaves clues.

There are people who have succeeding in something that you want to have, do, or be.

Someone out there has probably already done it (or something similar).

These trailblazers left clues.

You can study people who have succeeded in an area that you want to have results.

Learn what they did, how they did it.

Ask them how they did it if they’re still alive.

Interview 10 people who’ve already done it.

Read books on how to do it.

Take a course on how to do it.

Gather all the clues from these interviews with successful people, books, courses, documentaries, etc.

Use these clues to your advantage.

Let’s say you want to open a bakery.

Find several bakeries.

Set up an appointment to have coffee with the owner of each one.

Ask her how she did it. Ask her to share any information she has.

Volunteer to work and learn from them (as an intern or apprentice).

Most people are happy to help. If not, someone, somewhere will be glad to help.
