Position: Recreation Therapist–AL Specialty
Salary: $16-$20/hr.
Duties: Responsible for assisting in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluating of individual, small, and large group wellness programs, incorporating all six dimensions of Wellness.
Requirements: -Be a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or be eligible and willing to get certification.
-B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field and 2 years experience working with geriatrics.
-Previous experience in leadership roles (i.e. teaching, leading church groups, etc.).
-Must be able to work scheduled hours as well as extra hours in evenings, weekends, etc. as needed.
-Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record, and will obtain CDL.
Additional info: Position is full-time with a requirement of two Saturdays/month.
