Position: Recreation Therapist

North Node Wellness is currently hiring for Recreational Therapists to work with our intellectually and developmentally disabled clientele. This is a community-based, contract position meaning that it is expected for therapist to provide creative, innovative activities both in the home and out in the community for the individuals on their personal caseload. This position also requires that the potential candidate live in or around the surrounding community. Competitive pay rate based on experience. This is not a typical 9-5 position and offers therapist the opportunity to make his or her own schedule to accommodate for life demands.
Requirements: Individuals applying for this position will need a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or related field.
Individual must be certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation (NCTRC)
Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities through various practicums, internships or employment opportunities.
