Morgan is an Arizonan Native graduated with a B.S. in Recreation Management with an emphasis in Recreational Therapy from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2017.
She’s worked with individuals with mental health problems and developmental disabilities. The interventions she has used while working with them was Adventure Therapy, task initiatives, art, improv, sports, volunteer activities, and leisure education.
One of Morgan’s professional values is to improve herself in order to be a better resource for the people she serves. This has led her to take courses to improve her skills and research for the best interventions for the populations she’s worked with.
Morgan currently lives in Utah with her husband where they enjoy many outdoor and life adventures together.
Morgan started Penny for My Thoughts in March 2019 after she injured her back for the second time within a year. She wanted to create a platform where she could share her thoughts about Chronic Back Pain in order to uplift and give hope to those read who her posts. She also wanted to use the platform to continue practicing Recreational Therapy, connect with other professionals, and empower them to provide the best services they can.
She created an Instagram and Pinterest accounts as well as a web site for her platform.
