Do  you need help learning medical terminology, abbreviations, and jargon?

Saint Thomas River Park Hospital has put together a real nice medical terms and acronyms guide.

Danny’s note: of course, abbreviations vary from facility to facility and agency to agency. In example: where I work at, we’re encouraged to write things out opposed to using acronyms to prevent mistakes.  Also – some acronyms are the same: PT for physical therapy or for patient. It is best to use what is suited for your agency.
