We, Recreational Therapists, are not the only people who use games and activities for a purpose (beyond simple fun).
The C.I.A. apparently uses board games and role-play games to train their agents.
It sounds like a smart thing to do.
Danny P. comments: several of my friends in elementary school played Dungeons and Dragons. It is a game where you have a fictional character in a fictional world. It is like story-telling. And there is a 20-sided-dice, which I mostly enjoyed. Those people who love that game love it. My friends from elementary school who play it – still get together as adults in their mid-30s to play those games.
me, personally: I’d rather play Clue.
